This progressive Finger Lakes town offers outdoor enthusiasts with hikes at nearby state parks. Plus, there are a lot of amazing breweries and cider houses for you to try. Don't miss Ithaca Farmers Market for local shopping!

Skaneateles, New York

This town is famous for its lake that holds the crown for the clearest one in the state. You can take a boat tour or just admire the lake at Thayer Park. One of the best things here is the walkable downtown, which has a lot of shopping and dining opportunities.

Canandaigua, New York

If you love nature and history, you'll have a great time in this town. It is home to the Sonnenberg Gardens, Ganondagan State Historic Site, and nice wine trails. You can also take a sunset cruise on the lake or ski on Bristol Mountain's slopes in the winter.
